AI Video Editor (Product Videos)

HEY DEAR sells personalized products in many product categories across Europe. Most of it we sell through video ads on Facebook and Instagram.

We launch new products every week, and every new product needs new videos. That is your job.

Our videos are simple on purpose. Our products do not need much explaining: the product itself, its design and the personalization are the hero. So every scene looks real and keeps a clear focus on the product. We rarely use voiceover and never anyone talking to camera. We use short text on screen instead. It says more or less the same thing in every video and can be finished with AI.

You can work in English, but your English must be fluent. All our briefings are in English. You do not need to speak German: every product is easy to understand without words. Just keep the text on screen right and consistent. AI helps you keep it as short and clear as possible.

Speed matters, most of all now from September to December. We need very fast turnarounds, ideally 1 to 2 days per product. Working on weekends is welcome and paid accordingly.

What our videos look like

Three of our products, one video each, three hooks per video. This is the minimum level we expect. Every video has one goal: make it clear that the product can be personalized, and show what it can do. A puzzle gets taken apart and put back together. A Christmas ornament hangs in a Christmas scene. The mood always fits the product.

What you will do

  • Every week you get new products. For each one: two product photos, the size, the material and what the product is for.
  • You make one video per product with AI. The product at its real size, in a real looking scene, with close ups that show the quality and the personalization.
  • You cut three versions of each video with three different hooks, so we can test which opening works best. Every version in 9:16 and 4:5.
  • You check your own AI shots and throw out what looks fake before we see it.

What we look for

  • You have made AI video before and can show it: image to video, a product in a hand, a product in a scene.
  • You see it when a product is the wrong size, when fingers melt, or when letters on the product change from one frame to the next. And you fix it.
  • You can edit: pacing, cuts on the beat, music that fits the mood.
  • Your English is fluent.
  • You deliver fast, ideally within 1 to 2 days per product, and reply within a day.

How it works
